Wyniki International Wine and Spirit Competition!
Ogłoszono wyniki International Wine and Spirit Competition, najbardziej prestiżowego konkursu, w trakcie którego oceniane i nagradzane są wina, whisky, likiery i inne trunki. Historia konkursu IWSC sięga roku 1969, kiedy to odbyła się jego pierwsza edycja. Od tamtej pory, coroczne edycje konkursu przyciągają uwagę wiodących producentów alkoholi na świecie, a charakterystyczne znaczki zdobią kolejne partie trunków i są niezwykle cenione przez ich producentów.
Nas interesuje jedynie kategoria „Szkocka whisky słodowa”, której wyniki podajemy poniżej. Procedura przyznawania nagród jest prosta i zapewnia pełną bezstronność. Panel degustacyjny, w skład którego wchodzą znani i uznani specjaliści i koneserzy, otrzymuje whisky w nieoznakowanych i jednakowych butelkach, a nazwy i wersje whisky ujawniane są dopiero po podliczeniu punktów przyznanych „w ciemno”.
W skład interesującego nas panelu wchodzą m.in. znani nam skądinąd Charles Maclean, Jim McEwan z Bruichladdich, Martine Nouet, David Stewart z Balvenie, Richard Paterson z Whyte & MacKay, czy Jim Murray.
Każda whisky oceniana jest w 100-punktowej skali, a wynik każdej z nich jest następnie „przekładany” na medale, wg następującego schematu:
70-79,9 pkt. – brązowy medal
80-89,9 pkt. – srebrny medal
90-100 pkt. – złoty medal
W przypadku zdobycia danego trofeum przez więcej niż jedną whisky, zdobywca największej liczby punktów otrzymuje dodatkowo miano „Najlepszego w swojej kategorii”.

Ogłoszono wyniki International Wine and Spirit Competition, najbardziej prestiżowego konkursu, w trakcie którego oceniane i nagradzane są wina, whisky, likiery i inne trunki. Historia konkursu IWSC sięga roku 1969, kiedy to odbyła się jego pierwsza edycja. Od tamtej pory, coroczne edycje konkursu przyciągają uwagę wiodących producentów alkoholi na świecie, a charakterystyczne znaczki zdobią kolejne partie trunków i są niezwykle cenione przez ich producentów.
Nas interesuje jedynie kategoria „Szkocka whisky słodowa”, której wyniki podajemy poniżej. Procedura przyznawania nagród jest prosta i zapewnia pełną bezstronność. Panel degustacyjny, w skład którego wchodzą znani i uznani specjaliści i koneserzy, otrzymuje whisky w nieoznakowanych i jednakowych butelkach, a nazwy i wersje whisky ujawniane są dopiero po podliczeniu punktów przyznanych „w ciemno”.
W skład interesującego nas panelu wchodzą m.in. znani nam skądinąd Charles Maclean, Jim McEwan z Bruichladdich, Martine Nouet, David Stewart z Balvenie, Richard Paterson z Whyte & MacKay, czy Jim Murray.
Każda whisky oceniana jest w 100-punktowej skali, a wynik każdej z nich jest następnie „przekładany” na medale, wg następującego schematu:
70-79,9 pkt. – brązowy medal
80-89,9 pkt. – srebrny medal
90-100 pkt. – złoty medal
W przypadku zdobycia danego trofeum przez więcej niż jedną whisky, zdobywca największej liczby punktów otrzymuje dodatkowo miano „Najlepszego w swojej kategorii”.
